India is considered to be a strong contender to win the T20 World Cup this year, but there is one team that can break Team India’s dream of winning the trophy. The team that can break Team India’s dream of winning the T20 World Cup trophy is West Indies, the most dangerous team in the T20 format. In the last T20 World Cup tournament played in the year 2016, the West Indies knocked out India after defeating them in the semi-finals. The title of the 2016 T20 World Cup was also won by West Indies, who is also the defending champion this time.

This team is a threat to India

Almost all the players of West Indies are T20 specialists, who have become stronger by playing T20 leagues around the world. In IPL also, the players of West Indies get better performance than the cricketers of other countries. Under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, India won the 2007 T20 World Cup title, but since then it has not been able to achieve this trophy. This time India would like to win the T20 World Cup at any cost.

In reply, Team India achieved the target by losing 4 wickets.

India and Pakistan will clash after 2 years

Teams of India and Pakistan (IND VS PAK) will face each other after 2 years. The last time both the teams met was during the 2019 World Cup. In that match, India defeated Pakistan by 89 runs. Rohit Sharma scored 140 runs in that match. Team India had scored 336 runs for 5 wickets. In reply, Pakistan’s team could only score 212 runs for 6 wickets.

Pakistan did not win against India in T20 for 9 years

These teams are included in India’s group

For the opening round of the tournament, the teams are divided into two groups. England, Australia, West Indies, and South Africa have got a place in Group 1.
