Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said that the delivery of the first batch of EVs will now start from December 25 instead of November 25. Even before this, the delivery of EVs was increased from 25 October to 25 November. Let us know that the starting price for Ola S1 is Rs 1 lakh which goes up to Rs 1.30 lakh for S1 Pro.
120 kms on full charge
Ola Electric has introduced this scooter in two variants – S1 and S1 Pro. In these, where the S1 has come with a 2.98 kWh battery pack, the S1 Pro has been equipped with a 3.97 kWh battery pack. The S1 can run up to 120 km on a full charge and the S1 Pro can run up to 180 km on a single charge. The price of both these electric scooters is less according to the subsidy given by different states.

World’s largest electric two-wheeler plant
Both these electric scooters are being manufactured at Ola Electric’s plant near Chennai in Tamil Nadu. The company has installed a new hypercharger in the same premises. Some time back, Ola Electric has promised that hyperchargers will be installed at over 1 lakh locations and touchpoints in 400 cities across the country for the convenience of the customers. Let us tell you that this plant of Ola Electric is going to become the world’s largest electric two-wheeler manufacturing plant and currently its reins are completely handled by women.
