Royal Enfield has created a new record in India by selling 120 units of the 650 Twins Anniversary Edition in just 120 seconds. Let us tell you that this edition of Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 has been specially made to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Royal Enfield. The country’s leading high-performance motorcycle maker launched the Royal Enfield 650 Twin Anniversary Edition model at EICMA 2021. Let’s know its features.

Royal Enfield has announced that only 480 units of this special edition motorcycle will be sold globally. Of these, 120 units were earmarked for sale for the Indian market, which sold out in just 120 seconds. Royal Enfield itself claims that these were sold out in record time. It is worth noting that the special edition Royal Enfield 650 Twin Anniversary Edition motorcycle was made available to the customers on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis on 6th December.

The 120th edition models of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 get a handcraft, die-cast brass fuel tank badge. Not only this, but they also get hand-painted pinstripes to make the vehicle more attractive. In addition, the fuel tank top badge carries a unique serial number and a special decal on the side body panel.

Let us tell you that the Royal Enfield 650 Twins 120th Anniversary Edition model has been given a unique, rich black-chrome fuel tank. The engine and exhaust have been offered completely in black color on the motorcycle. These models are equipped with many original accessories like flyscreen, engine guard, heel guard, and many more. That is, this bike is looking very attractive.

Let us tell you that in November 1901, Royal Enfield launched its first motorcycle at the Stanley Cycle Show in London. To celebrate its 120th anniversary this year, the company has designed and introduced the Royal Enfield Interceptor, the Continental GT 650 120th Anniversary Edition. Hence, these motorcycles come with special badging and special livery.

No changes have been made to the engine and specifications of the special edition 650cc model. It also comes with an extended warranty in addition to a three-year OEM warranty for the fourth and fifth years along with the exclusive blacked-out Royal Enfield Genuine Motorcycle Accessories Kit.

However, let us tell you that Royal Enfield’s domestic motorcycle sales declined by 24 percent to 44,830 units in November 2021 from 59,084 units in the same month a year ago. However, the export numbers of the motorcycle giant were much higher with 6,824 units last month. Exports sold 4,698 units in November 2020, an increase of 45 percent.
