Team India has a golden opportunity to beat South Africa in their home Test series, but will Virat Kohli’s men be able to do so?
The last battle of the series between India and South Africa will be held at Newlands in Cape Town from January 11. The biggest question in the mind of cricket fans is whether ‘Virat’s army’ will be able to win the Test series for the first time on this soil, or will the Proteas team stop him from doing so.
Golden opportunity for India
Team India has not won a single test match in Cape Town so far, that is, if ‘Virat and Company’ wins this match, then for the first time they will win the match and series in this ground and country respectively. I will be successful.
Harbhajan’s prediction
Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh has made a big prediction before the third and final Test. He believes that Team India has the upper hand because they have an excellent pace bowling attack and South Africa’s team is not so strong at the moment.
‘India has quality fast bowlers’
Harbhajan Singh told HT Media, ‘When we or any other team used to go on tour, we did not have the facility of 4 fast bowlers who could bowl at the speed of 145 on those pitches. They have quality fast bowlers which include Shami, Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, and Shardul Thakur. These are all top-class bowlers.
Bhajji hopes from Team India
Harbhajan Singh said, ‘If India had such bowlers before, India would have achieved this position much earlier. So, yes this is a golden opportunity for the Indian team to win the series. I hope he does that in the last game. South Africa played well. He had gone to win. I think overall Team India will be at their top level in Cape Town and win the series, I think so.
‘SA doesn’t have quality batsmen’
Harbhajan Singh further said, ‘South Africa used to be a completely different team in those days and it was also very strong. Talking about this team, I would like to say with full respect that it is not a matter of defeating India. The Indian team is much stronger than him. I have said that this is the best opportunity for Team India to beat South Africa at their home because they do not have quality batsmen in their team.
