Keeping this need of Aadhaar in mind, UIDAI has launched Aadhar Card with PVC Card to make it easy to carry everywhere. It can be made by any Aadhar cardholder by paying a fee of Rs 50.
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has made the Aadhaar PVC card generation process very simple and easy. For this, any Indian citizen can order sitting at home and for this, he will not even need an Aadhaar registered mobile number. Aadhar PVC Card will be delivered to you through Speed Post. UIDAI said that now no need to worry, citizens can now get OTP on any mobile number for authentication of their Aadhaar PVC orders.

These facilities will not be available on unregistered numbers
You can ask for OTP to generate a PVC Aadhar card on any unregistered number. But you will not get those facilities which are available on a registered mobile number. It has been told on the UIDAI website that you will not see the preview of Aadhaar asking for OTP on a non-registered mobile. Along with this, the details related to Aadhaar will not be visible on the non-registered mobile number.
How to apply for a PVC card
First of all open the official website of UIDAI (https://uidai.gov.in) then clicks on Order Aadhaar PVC Card in the My Aadhaar section. As soon as you click on Order Aadhaar PVC Card, you will have to enter a 12 digit Aadhaar number or 16 digits Virtual ID or 28 digits UID, either of these three.

UIDAI itself has stated that the quality of printing and lamination of the new PVC cards is better. This will go on for many years. Apart from this, with this new PVC Aadhar card, the authenticity of the card will be verified instantly through a QR code. There will be no technical problem with this. Apart from this, it is equipped with modern safety features. For security, the new cord comes with a hologram, guilloche pattern, ghost image, and micro text features.
No charge for delivery
For a new PVC card, you will have to pay only Rs 50 to UIDAI, after which the card will reach your home through speed post. There is no charge for delivery.
