The Japanese automaker Nissan’s journey in the Indian market has been uneventful thus far. Vehicles such as the Micra, Sunny, Terrano, and Kicks were introduced, but sales were disappointing.
Nissan’s fortunes changed with the introduction of the compact SUV Magnite. The compact SUV Nissan Magnite has many great features, but the most important thing about it is its low price. It has an ex-showroom price of less than Rs.6 lakh.
The Japanese company has provided 205mm ground clearance in this SUV, which is adequate for Indian roads. It has a 2,500mm wheelbase, according to the company. This increases the vehicle’s cabin space. It has a boot capacity of 336 liters.
Though it is less than rivals Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, and Kia Sonet, the company claims that the Magnite’s boot space is more usable than the others due to its unique design.

Niyan’s SUV is the most feature-packed in the subcompact segment. It has an 8-inch touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch TFT, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless smartphone charger, push-button start/stop, a JBL sound system, and cruise control. Aside from these, the Magnite has a 360-degree surround-view feature, which is useful when parking.
In addition, the company has prioritized safety in this compact SUV. The vehicle, which received a 4-star rating in the ASEAN NCAP test, has two front airbags. Magnite also includes safety features such as Vehicle Dynamics Control, Hill Start Assist, ABS, Reverse Parking Camera, and Reverse Parking Sensor. The ex-showroom price of this luxurious car starts at Rs 5.76 Lakh and goes up to Rs 9.98 Lakh for the top model.
