Yamaha launched this new scooter with a bold look, designed such that it will not scratch

Yamaha has launched its new Neo Electric Scooter in Europe, which costs around Rs 2.5 lakh in India. The scooter has been designed in such a way that it does not get minor scratches. The Neo EV has been built on its standard model which comes with a 50 cc engine.

The price of this scooter in Europe has been fixed at 3,005 Euro, which is around Rs 2.52 lakh in India. Yamaha says that this electric scooter will be available in select European countries from May 2022. Actually, Neo EV is based on its standard variant, with which a 50 cc engine has been given. Yamaha has given the electric scooter several parts from the standard model, one of which is the great-looking twin headlight setup. Its styling and design are strong and overall the scooter looks quite attractive.

Designed to survive scratches
The EV is powered by a hub-mounted brushless DC motor which makes 2.06 kW in STD mode. Its speed has been limited to 40 km/h. Its power capacity is reduced to 1.58 kW on Eco mode, while its top speed is also reduced to 35 km/h.

A removable battery will be available
Yamaha has provided a removable 50.4-volt lithium-ion battery pack with the scooter, which weighs 8 kg. It takes a total of 8 hours to fully charge from the home socket. Under this, the rider gets battery information, route information, call, and message information, apart from this 27 liters of space have been given under the seat.
