Jeep is all set to expand its SUV range in the Indian market and this is the reason why the company is going to launch the new Meridian 7-seater SUV very soon. Jeep India is going to unveil its all-new 7-seater SUV Jeep Meridian on 29th March 2022. Now booking has been started for this SUV at the dealership level, whose booking amount has been fixed at Rs 50,000. Let us know that in May 2022, the company can start selling this SUV. This 3-row SUV is one of the popular cars of the American car company, which is already being sold in the South American market under the name Jeep Commander. The Jeep Compass is available in India with the SUV whose model with the extended wheelbase is being sold in the country.

This Jeep is India’s first 7-seater in the country
The company has released the teaser of the new SUV with stickers, which will compete with Hyundai Alcazar, Kia Carens, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Mahindra XUV700 in India. This Jeep will be India’s first 7-seater SUV in the country and the Meridian will be positioned as an SUV with stellar styling and design along with great performance and capability. In the teaser, the car has been covered with a special sticker which includes several images like India Gate, Camel of Rajasthan, Tiger of Madhya Pradesh, Flag of Maharashtra, Elephant of Karnataka, and Coconut tree of Kerala.

Jeep Compass with 2.0-Litre Diesel Engine
The machine Meridian SUV is probably going to be high-powered by a pair of.0-liter internal-combustion engine with the machine Compass mated to a 6-speed manual and 9-speed automatic drive. The Jeep Compass is also offered with a 1.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged petrol engine that comes mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT as an option. The SUV gets LED headlamps with a 7-slat grille, LED taillamps at the rear, sporty square wheel arches.
