Maruti Suzuki is soon going to launch the new generation Alto in the market which has been one of the best-selling cars in India for almost two decades. The new model of this affordable hatchback, the favorite of the customers, will be launched with many new features and in a different style.

Maruti Suzuki Alto, which has been the best-selling car in India, is now ready to be launched in a new avatar and it has been recently seen during testing. The company is working on several cars for 2022 including the new Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Vitara Brezza. Alto is one of the most loved cars in the country whose new model is definitely going to add to its sales. The entry-level hatchback is now seen in an SUV-like styling, which has already grown in stature. With this avatar, the Alto will not only be bigger in size but will also get more cabin space than before.

Car mileage will increase even more
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto is built on the latest generation Suzuki Heartect platform, which will increase the mileage of this car even more and its load will be less than before. It has also been revealed that the new Alto is being built like the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, so many parts can be given with it from the S-Presso. Maruti Suzuki’s car line-up is quite extensive, so swapping parts between a car and another vehicle is easy. It is expected to get a changed dashboard in the cabin of the car, which has been prepared according to today’s era and many new features can also be given in it.

It is estimated that Maruti Suzuki may also offer a 1-liter K-series engine with the 2022 Alto, which the company has prepared after doing a lot of research. This engine makes 67 bhp power and 90 Nm peak torque which is offered by the company mated to a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox.
