On Monday, the Sensex closed 93.91 points or 0.17% lower at 55,675.32, while the Nifty lost 18.55 points or 0.11% to end at 16,565.75. Today, in the pre-opening of the Indian stock market, there was a decline in the market and in the pre-opening session, the Sensex fell by 300 points and the Nifty came down by 16,500 points.

On Monday, the Dow Jones gained 16 points to close at 32,915.78. Nasdaq closed with a gain of 49 points at 12,061.37. While the S&P 500 index gained 13 points to end at 4,121.43.
