The next-generation Maruti Suzuki Brezza is scheduled to be launched in India on June 30. The prefix ‘Vitara’ has been dropped from the name of the new model. The SUV can be launched with a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine. It can also have mild hybrids.

New Maruti Midsize SUV (codename: YFG)
The S-Cross may be replaced by Maruti’s new midsize SUV, which is also in the works. The upcoming model is expected to get two engine options – the 1.5L petrol mild-hybrid engine and the 1.5L petrol ‘strong’ hybrid powertrain.

Maruti’s cheapest car Alto is also being updated. The new generation Alto could be launched in the first half of 2023. The Heartect platform is anticipated to serve as the new model’s foundation.

An electric SUV for the Indian market that Maruti Suzuki and Toyota are jointly developing could be available by 2024. It is transportable with 48 kWh and 59 kWh batteries. It can get 2WD and AWD.
