The probationary period was, however, extended earlier in 2019 by the Kamal Nath administration in Madhya Pradesh. According to this, employees will receive a 70 percent (of the minimum average salary) stipend in the first year, an 80 percent stipend in the second year, a 90 percent stipend in the third year, and a full salary starting in the fourth year of employment.
