Noida Air Quality: ‘Hawa’ again a problem for the people of Greater Noida, pollution reaches severe category

Noida Air Quality. Due to the continuous drop in temperature and slow wind speed on the surface during the day, the pollutants have started increasing. Greater Noida was the most polluted city of NCR on Tuesday. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the average air quality index (AQI) of Greater Noida stood at 406 on Tuesday. It is a serious category of air pollution.

Know the condition of other cities 

Delhi recorded 369, Noida 344, Ghaziabad 332, Faridabad 320, Gurugram 312. The air of the entire NCR, except Greater Noida, was recorded in the very poor category. According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the air is likely to remain in the very poor category for the next three days. On Tuesday, the wind speed was eight km per hour from the northwest direction. On Monday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 26 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at nine degree Celsius. Due to the cold wind blowing in the morning and evening, people who came out of their houses felt cold. People got relief from the sunshine coming out during the day.

Children vulnerable to pneumonia due to cold and pollution

The change in weather is causing a drop in temperature. Due to increasing cold and pollution, children are becoming victims of pneumonia. Doctors have advised the family members to get the needy children vaccinated against pneumonia on time.

Take special care of children 

Dr. DK Gupta, the pediatrician of Felix Hospital, says that pneumonia is the main cause of death of children. Children need special care in this season. That’s why to keep the children covered all over the body. Keep ears covered, and protect from cold. Rapid breathing, and wheezing in the chest can be a sign of pneumonia in children. Due to pneumonia, most children below the age of five have difficulty breathing and drinking milk. That’s why it is necessary to vaccinate children on time. Contact a doctor if you have chest pain, cough, phlegm or mucus during breathing, and fever.
