Electric Cars: Electric vehicles (EV) markets in India are increasing continuously every month. Tata Motors tops 85 percent market share. This is followed by the number of MG and Hyundai. Electric cars like Tiago Ev, Tigor EV (updated), Nexon Ev Prime/Max, and Byd Atto have been launched in the EV segment this year. Let’s tell about them.
TATA TIAGO EV
Domestic vehicle manufacturer Tata recently announced the prices of Tiago EV, which comes in four trims – XE, XT, XZ+, and XZ+ Tech. Its base variant is priced at Rs 8.49 lakh, which goes up to Rs 11.79 lakh for top-end trim. The company has confirmed that the delivery of Tiago EV will begin in January 2023. The model offers 250km and 315km range with 19.2kwh or 24kwh battery packs respectively.
TATA TIGOR EV
Updated Tata Tigor EV was also recently launched in the range of Rs 12.49 lakh to Rs 13.75 lakh. The electric sedan comes with a 26kwh, liquid-cooled, high-energy-density battery pack, providing a range of 315 km on a full charge. It provides features such as Zconnect connected car technology, smartwatch connectivity, multi-mode rejection, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
TATA NEXON EV PRIME/MAX
The Tata Nexon Ev Prime was launched earlier this year, which is already an updated version of the Nexon Ev on sale. It was brought for sale in July 2022. Its price ranges from Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 17.50 lakh. The EV provides a 30.2kwh battery pack, with the help of which it gives a range of 312km on a single charge.
Apart from this, Tata Nexon Ev Max has also launched with a price range of Rs 18.34 lakh to Rs 20.04 lakh (ex-showroom) this year. It gets a 40.5 kWh battery pack, which can give a range of 437 km once full charge. It can achieve a speed of 0 to 100 kmph in less than 9 seconds.
ATTO WORLD 3
BYD has launched the ATTO 3 electric SUV in India, which starts at Rs 33.99 lakh. Its booking had already started. Its delivery will begin in January 2023. Byd Atto 3 gets 60kwh byd Blade battery. It claims a range of 521km on a single full charge. The SUV can catch a speed of 0 to 100 kmph in 7.3 seconds.
