CT2 Electric Car: Lack of space is a very real problem in many cities around the world. In such a situation, it becomes difficult for people not only to park their car but also to drive it in the traffic. A large number of people use bikes and scooters to avoid the hassle of traffic. In such a situation, Israel’s Electric Vehicle (EV) startup City Transformer (CT Transformer) has come up with a mini electric car. This car has been named CT-2. The company claims that it has been specially designed for urban traffic. It can be easily parked even in crowded places.
Only 1 meter wide
If we talk about dimensions, then it is only 1 meter wide. For comparison, let us tell you that the width of Tata Tiago EV is 1.66 meters. The City Transformer CT-2 is slim enough to fit itself into most streets. The company claims that four CT-2 cars can be parked in the space of a normal vehicle.
How many people can it seat?
Obviously, the City Transformer CT-2 is not a family car. Driver and passenger can sit in it. It is specially designed for traveling in congested city areas. The car weighs just 450 kg, which is less than the battery weight of some high-end EVs across the world.
How much will it run in full charge?
Despite being so compact and light, this EV has the power to run up to 180 km on a full charge. In performance mode, it can also touch a top speed of 90 kmph. The City Transformer will go on sale in Western Europe in late 2024. The company reportedly wants to target the European markets first. It is speculated that the price of CT-2 can start from around $ 16,000 (about Rs 13 lakh).
