With the growing need for SUVs that can seat 7 people in the nation, the company is constantly working to meet the demand. Tata Motors has recently introduced its Tata Safari in a new version and also features an ADAS feature. Following Tata, Hyundai has also made the decision to upgrade its 3rd-gen SUV, Alcazar. Hyundai has launched the Alcazar with a brand-new engine. The customers will also be able to receive a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine inside the Alcazar. The bookings of the Hyundai Alcazar that comes with the brand new turbo petrol engine have also been made as of today.
Engine and Mileage
Customers can reserve the SUV with seven seats for the sum of Rs 25,000. Its turbo-powered version is anticipated to cost about 18 lakh. It will compete against the Kia Carens which is equipped with a 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine. This new model will be equipped with two different types of transmissions: a 7-speed DCT and a manual gearbox with 6 speeds. The turbo petrol engine has the capacity to produce the maximum output of 160PS and a maximum power of 253 Nm. Hyundai promises that it will provide fuel efficiency of around 18 kmpl when using DCT and DCT or 17.5 kmpl using an automatic gearbox.
The design has also been changed
The company has also altered the look and appearance of its Alcazar SUV with its facelift version. The Alcazar also features a new front grille style, along with Puddle lamps. In terms of safety features, Hyundai has updated the new Alcazar with idle stop-and-go, in addition to side airbags and curtain airbags. The new Alcazar has six airbags in the standard configuration.

The Alcazar hasn’t been as effective with regard to sales, but it isn’t as bad as its Korean counterpart, Carens. Alcazar includes features like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, an electronic driver display, a panoramic sunroof as well as wireless charging.
