In the days before Holi this year, the government provided a fantastic present to unemployed youth. The announcement was made by the government that it will provide an allowance each month to young people who are not working. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel unveiled an annual budget amounting to 121 500 crores for the fiscal year 2023-24 to the state assembly on Monday. In the budget, the state has announced a monthly allowance of Rs 2,500 was provided to the youth who are unemployed in the state.
Honorarium increases as well.
Baghel announced that he would increase the honorarium for Anganwadi workers and home guards, as well as village Kotwars. He said that the Congress government has been trying to aid the farmers, youth workers, women, and workers during the year of elections. Baghel declared that the budget that was presented with the concept of ‘Garhbo Navara Chhattisgarh” is centered on the growth and prosperity of the state, keeping in mind the rural and agricultural economics, which will further strengthen the goals of the ‘Chhattisgarh Model’.
Budget
The budget is a sincere and hard-working effort to keep what was promised to citizens in Chhattisgarh throughout the course of 2018 by our government. The Chief Minister announced that a new scheme would be launched to offer money to the unemployed youth. In the scheme, those who have completed 12th class, unemployed youth aged between 18 to 35 with a family income that is lower than 2.50 lakh will receive an allowance of Rs.2,500 per month.

The monthly honorarium for Anganwadi assistants and workers will be raised by Rs.6,500 and Rs.10,000. As well as from Rs.3,250 to Rs.5,000 per month, respectively. The honorarium for smaller Anganwadi employees will increase from 4,500 to 7,500. Also, Chief Minister Rajiv Gandhi announced an increment in the honorariums of village Kotwars. The honorarium for the village Patels is to be raised from 2,000 to 3,300.
Honorarium for sweepers
The pay for sweepers in schools will be increased by Rs.2,500 and Rs.2,800 monthly. The Chief Minister stated that a sum of 200 crores is included. The budget to fund the creation of four new medical schools located in Manendragarh, Gidam, Janjgir Champa, and Kabirdham districts. The Chief Minister said there was no plan for an additional tax within the budget.
