Corona virus cases have once more begun to rise quickly in Delhi. After roughly six months, the number of infected patients has surpassed 300 for the first time. The national capital has experienced two deaths related to Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, and the infection rate is 13.89 percent, according to information made public on Wednesday. The city now has roughly 900 active cases of Corona following the entrance of these 300 new cases. The Health Department performed 2160 tests throughout this time period. Saurabh Bharadwaj, the health minister for the Delhi government, has requested an urgent meeting because of Corona’s out-of-control pace.
Meeting with representatives
In order to evaluate the health department’s preparations as well as those of all the hospitals in Delhi, Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj will have a significant meeting with the officials and specialized doctors affiliated with the health department this afternoon. Furthermore present at this conference will be the Special Secretary for the Health Department, the Director General of Health Services, the Nodal Officer for Oxygen and Testing, and the Medical Directors of many hospitals, including LNJP.
Concern grew as Corona cases rose.
The number of new Corona patients has been surprisingly rising during the past several days. The issue has grown as a result. The national government has also acted concurrently after becoming aware of this threat. The Delhi government has previously said that the current wave of corona infections cannot be compared to the rise in corona infection rates in Delhi. Six states, but not Delhi, are named in the Center’s recommendation, according to Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj. These trends are accompanied by a rise in instances in Delhi. The hospitals and health facilities have received an advisory. Hospitals have been told to keep ventilators, oxygen supplies, and other equipment in full working order.
