Government employees have received some wonderful news following the increase in dearness allowance. Employees in every part of the nation are currently receiving salaries through the Seventh Pay Commission, but there have been several complaints from workers that they are not receiving salaries more than what they should be receiving. The administration is requesting the Eighth Pay Commission in light of all of these circumstances.
How big will the wage rise be?
According to central employee groups, the minimum salary cap has currently been set at Rs 18,000. The Fitment Factor in the increase has received a lot of attention in this. This factor is 2.57 times, despite the 7th Pay Commission’s recommendation that it be maintained at 3.68 times. The minimum wage for employees will rise from Rs 18000 to Rs 26000 if the government agrees to this.

According to insiders, the administration may also introduce a new method because the 7th Pay Commission will not be replaced anytime soon. Instead, the government will put in place a system that automatically raises the pay of government workers. If DA is greater than 50%, there may be an “automatic pay revision system” in place, which would result in an automatic wage revision. If this occurs, 52 lakh retirees and 68 lakh employees of the central government will directly benefit.
