This indicates that the droplet-style hinge, which was used in the new model to close the gap, will still be present in place of the hinge gap.

These pictures show the phone’s two camera modules and its huge cover display, which is designed like a folder icon. The design is reminiscent of the model from the previous year, down to the fingerprint sensor and hinge.

According to the most recent leak, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 still features a noticeable hinge gap. It was previously rumored that Samsung has replaced it with a new, more noticeable droplet-style hinge design. By providing greater room for the display to bend, this innovative design helps to close the gap. Even with the new style, the distinction can still be seen in the dummy photos displayed.
