The recruitment for the Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 02/2025 has been made public by the Indian Air Force (IAF). Young people can apply online at agnipathvayu.cdac.in to join the Air Force as Agniveer Vayu. The application window will open on July 8 at 11 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. on July 28.
Candidates for IAF Agniveer Vayu Recruitment may be male or female.
The date of the selection test is October 18. Age Requirement: The applicant must be born between July 3, 2004 and January 3, 2008 (inclusive). A candidate’s upper age limit should be 21 as of the enrollment date if they complete every step of the selection procedure. Pregnancy and marital status: Only single applicants may submit their applications. Furthermore, Agniveer Vayu shouldn’t become pregnant while serving for the full four years. After Agniveer Vayu’s recruitment, a woman may wish to enlist in the Air Force as a normal soldier, but she should not become pregnant during this time.
Academic background: (A) Science courses
Candidates who wish to join the Indian Air Force (IAF) must have passed their class 12 test or an equivalent one. In addition, students need to have received a minimum of 50% in both Physics and Mathematics, as well as a minimum of 50% overall. A minimum of 50% of their grades must be in English.
You can also complete an engineering diploma program in mechanical, electrical, electronics, automobiles, computer science, instrumentation technology, or information technology to enlist in the Air Force. Take note that your overall score in the course as well as in English should not be less than 50 percent. If English is not a subject in the diploma, then you should have at least 50 percent marks in English in the 11th or 10th class (whichever had English).
You may also complete a two-year vocational program to enlist in the Air Force,
but keep in mind that this program requires non-vocational topics like math and physics with a minimum of 50% of your marks. Furthermore, you must receive at least 50% of your marks in English in either the 10th or 11th grade, depending on which subject included English, if English is not required for this vocational program.
(B) For topics outside of science
Candidates must pass the 12th class (or equivalent) exam in any subject or field to be admitted to the Indian Air Force. Keep in mind that you need to receive at least 50% of your total points in English and at least 50% of your marks overall.
To join the Air Force,
you can also do a two-year vocational course. In this course, you must have at least 50% marks overall and at least 50% marks in English. If English is not a subject in the vocational course, then you must have at least 50% marks in English in the 11th or 10th class (whichever had English).
