As per the details provided by the airport administration, Terminals 1 and 3 now have 50 SSBD machines installed. In addition, travelers will be able to print their boarding cards and tag their luggage. Before at IGI airport, passengers had to print their boarding passes and luggage tags on a machine. After this, they used to go to the baggage drop area (SSBD), where they had to get their passes scanned or face scanning done before keeping the luggage.

It used to take more than a minute, but now it only takes 30 seconds. Only three airlines currently offer SSBD machines: Air India, Indigo, and Air India Express. Since its launch, boarding a flight will now take less time for passengers.
