As per the details provided by the airport administration, Terminals 1 and 3 now have 50 SSBD machines installed. In addition, travelers will be able to print their boarding cards and tag their luggage. Before at IGI airport, passengers had to print their boarding passes and luggage tags on a machine. After this, they used to go to the baggage drop area (SSBD), where they had to get their passes scanned or face scanning done before keeping the luggage.

The decline in pulse production is cause for concern.

It will now only take a few seconds to finish the entire process. It used to take more than a minute to complete the process. However, it may now be completed in a matter of seconds. Allow us to inform you that the installation of SSBD machines was announced for June 2023 at Delhi Airport. Passengers now only need to take the luggage tag, making things easier than they were previously. This tag will be the same one that was previously accessible. The luggage must be put straight onto the SSBD machine after being taken out. According to an airport official, it’s now just a one-step process thanks to the SSBD machine.

There will be a need for a boarding permit or facial scanning.

Upon arrival at SSBD, travelers will be required to provide their boarding pass or undergo facial scanning. They will need to take more action after this. It used to take more than a minute, but now it only takes 30 seconds. Only three airlines currently offer SSBD machines: Air India, Indigo, and Air India Express. Passengers’ experiences would be better than previously because to this initiative, according to DIAL CEO Videh Kumar Jaipuriar.
