We want to inform you that RRB has begun accepting applications for the Junior Engineer positions. Candidates who meet the requirements can apply online at rrbapply.gov.in, the Railway Recruitment Board’s website.
Significant dates for the opening
The Junior Engineer positions in Railways will continue to accept applications through August 29, 2024. From August 30 to September 8, 2024, applicants will have the opportunity to pay the costs and make changes to their application form simultaneously. Through this recruitment campaign, candidates will be appointed to a total of 7,951 posts. Out of these, 7,934 posts are of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant. Whereas, 17 posts of Chemical Supervisor, Research, Metallurgical Supervisor and Research will be filled.
Application fee
A 500 rupee charge is required from applicants. Candidates who participate in the first round of the CBT will receive a reimbursement of Rs 400 once bank fees are subtracted. However, to participate in the CBT, candidates from the reserved category must pay a cost of Rs 250, which will be reimbursed once bank fees are subtracted. Online banking, debit/credit cards, and UPI can all be used to pay fees. Applicants seeking to be hired by Indian Railways as junior engineers must be between the ages of 18 and 36.
Procedure for Selection
There are two computer-based test phases in the selection process. Following this, a medical exam and document verification will take place. There will be an initial phase and phase two examination in CBT. There will be negative markings on it. 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. A total of 100 questions will be asked in Phase 1 CBT, which will have to be answered in 90 minutes. However, candidates of the PWD category have been given relaxation in timing, they will be given 120 minutes for Phase 1. While Phase 2 of CBT will have a total of 150 questions, which candidates will have 120 minutes to solve.

- Select the ‘RRB JE Apply’ tab now.
- Click the ‘New Registration Link’ after that.
- Put in your email address, address, phone number, and name.
- Your mobile number and email address will be used to send you your login information.
- Enter your credentials to log in.
- Continue with the online application for RRB JE.
