Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway has issued a notification this week for recruitment to the post of apprentice, for which the application process has started today i.e. 16 August. Candidates can apply for these posts till 16 September. For this, they will have to visit rrcnr.org. According to the notification, recruitment will be done on a total of 4,096 apprentice vacancies in Northern Railway. No written examination for this, rather the selection will be done based on screening of the applications of the candidates. There will be no oral examination i.e. interview in this.

2024 RRC NR Recruitment: The candidates for these positions must be 10th-grade graduates with an ITI or NCVT certificate.
Age Limit
Candidates should be at least 15 years of age and a maximum of 24 years as of 16 September 2024. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for persons with disabilities.
Recruitment Fee for RRC NR in 2024: Application
You must deposit a charge of Rs 100 to complete the application. For candidates who are female, SC, ST, EWS, or PwBD, there is no cost.
RRC NR Hiring 2024: The Selection Procedure
The candidates will be chosen based on a merit list that is created by averaging the percentage of marks earned in the ITI test and the Matriculation/SSC/10th class (with a minimum of 50% of total marks). Equal weight will be given to each. November 2024 is when the merit list is anticipated to be made public, and the precise date of the results announcement will be disclosed when it becomes available.
