iOS 18 was just published by Apple. However, such information has surfaced in the interim, which may let customers down. It has been discovered that many iPhones will no longer support Netflix. Some iPhone models will not be supported by Netflix, and the app will be permanently closed.
According to 9to5Mac,
Netflix has officially announced that it will no longer support iOS 16 and iPadOS 16. To use the Netflix app on iOS 17 or later versions, an upgrade will also be required. The Netflix app will not function on iPhones that are unable to update to iOS 17. The iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, Apple’s original iPad Pro, and iPad are all included in this list.
Netflix support may stop
Users who have Apple devices running on iOS 16 can access their account on the current version. But in the coming time, it can be closed forever. Such devices will not get further Netflix updates and bug-fix updates. This means that Apple devices running on operating systems older than iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 will not get its support.
The same is true with WhatsApp.
We would like to inform you that WhatsApp has discontinued supporting outdated versions of the app. Older Android and iOS models are no longer supported by the corporation after the release of the new version. The business does, however, alert users to this beforehand. Last year, WhatsApp discontinued support for several gadgets, which greatly saddened consumers.
