Netflix has officially announced that it will no longer support iOS 16 and iPadOS 16. To use the Netflix app on iOS 17 or later versions, an upgrade will also be required. The Netflix app will not function on iPhones that are unable to update to iOS 17. The iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, Apple’s original iPad Pro, and iPad are all included in this list.
Netflix support may stop
Users who have Apple devices running on iOS 16 can access their account on the current version. But in the coming time, it can be closed forever. Such devices will not get further Netflix updates and bug-fix updates. This means that Apple devices running on operating systems older than iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 will not get its support.
