The Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board has resumed the application process for 10,758 teacher positions for the 2024 MP Teacher Vacancy. Online applications are accepted until March 17, 2025.

Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB) MP Teacher Vacancy 2024: The application period for Class III teacher recruitment has been resumed. 10,758 positions, including those for primary and secondary teachers, are up for grabs in this hiring campaign. Online applications are accepted until March 17, 2025. This ruling was followed by the Honorable Court’s decree. Applications for the position were formerly accepted from January 28, 2025, until February 11, 2025. The selection board has now reopened the application window, giving candidates another opportunity.

Information about the openings

This hiring campaign is for several positions in the Departments of Tribal Affairs and School Education. There are 7929 Secondary Teacher (Subject) positions under this, and applicants must have passed the MPTET in 2018 or 2023. Under this recruiting, 10758 positions will be filled, many of which are directly related to sports, music, singing, playing, and dancing.

• Secondary Teacher (Subject): 7929 Positions (Tribal Affairs Department: 847, School Education Department: 7082)

• Sports for Secondary Teachers: 338 Posts

• 392 Posts for Secondary Music Teachers (Vocal Instrumental)

• 1377 Primary Teacher Sports positions are available in the School Education Department (724), and the Tribal Affairs Department (653).

• There are 452 positions available for primary teachers of music (vocal instruments) (School Education Department: 422, Tribal Affairs Department: 30).

• Dance for Primary Teachers: 270 Posts

Date of Exam and Shift Information

Beginning on March 20, 2025, this recruiting exam will be administered in two shifts. Nine in the morning to eleven in the afternoon is the first shift, and two in the afternoon to five is the second. This test will be administered in a number of the state’s largest cities. Balaghat, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, Khandwa, Neemuch, Rewa, Ratlam, Sagar, Sidhi, Ujjain, and so on are the names of the major cities.

Qualifications for Secondary Teachers

In addition to a two-year Bachelor of Education degree, candidates must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the applicable field. A bachelor’s degree in physical education or an equivalent degree is required for sports teachers. Candidates can also apply if they pass the MP Sports Eligibility Test in 2023. Candidates who have passed the Secondary Teacher Music Singing Instrumental Eligibility Test 2023 may apply for the position of music teacher, which requires a degree or diploma in music.

Qualifications for Primary Teachers

A bachelor’s degree in physical education is required to teach sports. A degree or diploma in both dance and music is required for employment as a music teacher.

Maximum Age

Candidates should be between the ages of 18 and 40 when they apply. For female applicants and SC, ST, and OBC male candidates, the maximum age limit has been loosened by five years.

Application Cost

applicants from the general category must pay an application cost of Rs 500, while applicants from the reserved categories (SC, ST, and OBC) must pay an application fee of Rs 200.
