This month, Redmi plans to launch the Redmi Watch Move, a new smartwatch, in India. The next smartwatch’s launch date and design have been revealed by the firm. In the days leading up to the launch, more information regarding this watch should become available online. The unique aspect is that the business released the Redmi Watch 5 in a few international marketplaces earlier this year. The Watch 5 was initially released in China in November 2024, but Redmi has not yet confirmed that it will be available in India.

India saw the launch of the Redmi Watch Move.
Redmi Watch Move will be released in India on April 21st, the company stated in a teaser post. The official website has also created a live microsite, confirming that the smartwatch would be sold in the nation via the Xiaomi India e-store.
The Redmi Watch Move’s design has been hinted at. A rectangular black display and a potentially useful crown on the right side will be features of the smartwatch. An AMOLED display will be featured on the watch, according to a tag on the promotional poster. This smart wearable’s other functions are still pending confirmation.

The Watch 5 with a 2.07-inch AMOLED rectangular display was just released by Redmi. It has a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits, and support for always-on displays. Its 550 mAh battery is said to last for up to 24 days between charges. It uses Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 interface and has a 5ATM water resistant rating. The e-SIM version costs CNY 799 (about Rs 9,000), while the basic version costs CNY 599 (roughly Rs 6,600).
The Watch 5 Active and Watch 5 Lite, which retail for Rs 2,799 and Rs 3,999, respectively, were introduced by the business in India last year. Both wearables promise 5ATM water resistance and a battery life of up to 18 days. The Watch 5 Active features a 2-inch rectangular LCD screen, while the Redmi Watch 5 Lite boasts a 1.96-inch AMOLED rectangular display.
