The Pad 5 series was introduced by iQOO in China on Tuesday. Both base and Pro versions of the series run OriginOS 5, which is based on Android 15. On Tuesday, the iQOO Neo 10 Pro+ and the iQOO Pad 5 series were introduced in China. There are base and Pro models in this new tablet lineup. They support up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage and are powered by OriginOS 5, which is based on Android 15. The MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor powers the Pad 5 Pro, while the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor powers the standard iQOO Pad 5. Batteries with capacities of 10,000mAh and 12,050mAh are included with both tablets.

The iQOO Pad 5 and iQOO Pad 5 Pro’s pricing and availability
The 8GB + 128GB model of the iQOO Pad 5 costs CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 29,700) in China. On the other hand, the 8GB + 256GB model costs CNY 2,799, or around Rs. 33,200. Meanwhile, CNY 3,099 (about Rs. 36,800) and CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 41,500) are the prices of the 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB variants, respectively.
At the same time, the iQOO Pad 5 Pro’s 8GB + 256GB model starts at CNY 3,199, or roughly Rs 38,000. Likewise, CNY 3,499 (about Rs 41,500), CNY 3,799 (roughly Rs 45,100), and CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 47,500) are the prices of the 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB RAM and storage combinations, respectively.
Both tablets are sold in China through the official e-store and a few online retail locations. They come in Isle of Man, Gray Crystal, and Silver Wing color variants.
The iQOO Pad 5 and iQOO Pad 5 Pro’s features and specifications
The 12.1-inch 2.8K (2,800 x 1,968 pixel) LCD screen of the iQOO Pad 5 has a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a maximum brightness of 900 nits, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and compatibility for HDR10. The 13-inch 3.1K (3,096×2,064 pixel) LCD panel of the iQOO Pad 5 Pro, on the other hand, has a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits.

The basic Pad 5 now contains a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ CPU from iQOO. It comes with up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The iQOO Pad 5 Pro, on the other hand, features a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which is 3nm. Both models run OriginOS 5, which is based on Android 15, and they support the same amount of RAM and storage as the vanilla version.
While the Pad 5 Pro has a 13-megapixel back and an 8-megapixel front sensor, the iQOO Pad 5 has an 8-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen1 connection are among the available connectivity choices. Features like Game Super-Resolution and iQOO’s Game Superframe frame insertion technology are supported by the tablets. There are six speakers in the base model and eight in the Pro model.
The 10,000mAh battery of the basic iQOO Pad 5 is capable of 44W fast charging. It weighs 590g and is 266.43 x 192 x 6.62 mm. In addition, the iQOO Pad 5 Pro boasts a 12,050mAh battery that can be charged at a 66W rapid rate. This tablet weighs 635g and measures 289.56×198.32×6.07mm.
