Liger, a Telugu and Hindi film directed by Puri Jagannadh and starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, has also been dubbed and released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The Hindi version of the movie will have its paid previews from the night shows today, but it will receive a full release tomorrow. The Telugu version of the film debuted today (26th August 2022). Liger is anticipated to have an outstanding Telugu market debut. But everyone is curious to see if the Hindi version will have a successful opening weekend or not.
Ramesh Bala, a trade analyst, recently discussed Liger’s Hindi adaptation with BollywoodLife and said, “In Hindi, Liger can take a start with Rs. 5 crores and if word of mouth is good it may pick up. The weekend will be better if the content and promotions are good. It should perform better than some recent Hindi movies, I’m hoping.
“For Hindi version, let’s not put too much pressure on the producers and Vijay Deverakonda because technically this is Vijay’s first ever film which is releasing in Hindi,” film exhibitor and distributor Akshaye Rathi said when discussing the Hindi version of Liger. In light of that, we can anticipate Hindi to have an Rs. 5–6 crore opening weekend at the box office.
The Hindi version of Liger will undoubtedly do well with an opening of Rs. 5 crores, and if the term and reviews are favorable, one can anticipate a sizable increase over the weekend. Whether Vijay Deverakonda is able to make a successful Bollywood debut or not will be interesting to watch, I suppose. Let’s observe and wait.
