About Maruti Alto 800
Maruti Alto 800 price starts at Rs. 3.54 Lakh – Rs. 5.13 Lakh (Ex-showroom). It is offered with a 0.8-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine as well as a CNG kit. On petrol, the engine produces 48 PS and 69 Nm while on CNG it produces 41 PS and 60 Nm. The car gets a 5-speed manual transmission. It does not get the option of automatic transmission. It gives a mileage of around 31 kmpl on CNG.
The Alto 800 gets features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), keyless entry, and front power windows. For safety, features like EBD, rear parking sensors, and ABS are available with two airbags.
About Maruti Alto K10
The Maruti Alto K10 is priced slightly higher than the Alto 800, with prices starting at Rs 3.99 lakh and going up to Rs 5.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Its engine is also bigger than the Alto 800 and it also gets the option of automatic transmission. It is powered by a 1.0-liter petrol engine, with which a CNG kit has also been given. On petrol, this engine outputs 67 PS and 89 Nm while on CNG it outputs 57 PS and 82.1 Nm.
The Alto K10 also gets idle-engine start/stop technology. The car comes with a 5-speed manual (standard) and an AMT gearbox (optional). The CNG variant only comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It returns a mileage of 33.85KM on CNG. It gets more features than the Alto 800 with steering-mounted controls.
