Yamaha New Bike Launch: Popular bike manufacturer Yamaha has launched an updated version of its 150cc motorcycle range. The company has simultaneously launched its 4 bikes in a new avatar. These include the R15 M, MT 15, FZ-X, and FZ-S FI. The Japanese two-wheeler claims that the updated Yamaha motorcycles are compliant with OBD 2 norms that will come into effect in April, and will come with several upgraded features. These bikes of the company compete with motorcycles like Bajaj Pulsar and TVS Apache.
Talking about the price, their starting price is Rs 115,200 (ex-showroom). This price is of FZ FI V3 bike. Yamaha MT 15 V2 is priced at Rs 168,400 (ex-showroom) and FZ-S FI is priced at Rs 127,400 (ex-showroom). Similarly, the price of FZ-X is Rs 135,900 (ex-showroom).
What has changed?
Yamaha’s R15 M comes with racing DNA. It comes in the company’s signature White and Blue avatar. The semi-faired bike gets R1 inspired display, a fully digital instrument cluster with night mode.
The FZ-S FI model now comes with several design updates. It gets updated headlamps with all-LED lamps and integrated LED daytime running lights in the cluster. Bluetooth connectivity is also available on the bike. Traction Control System (TCS) has also been given in it. The bike is available in three different color options – Metallic Grey, Majesty Red, and Metallic Black.
Similarly, the FZ-X gets golden wheel trims, bi-functional LED headlamps with integrated LED DRL lights, LED turn indicators, and LED taillights. It has a power socket for mobile charging and Bluetooth connectivity. It has been brought in three color options – Dark Matte Blue, Matte Black, and Matte Copper. The new Yamaha MT 15 V2 comes with updated styling. It gets LED turn indicators, LED headlamps, TCS, dual-channel ABS, and Bluetooth connectivity. It comes with a 155 cc engine.
