Sales of cars have seen significant growth during February month. Many car manufacturers have seen more sales as when compared to February of the previous year. Maruti Suzuki has remained at the top of the list. While there is competition with Hyundai as well as Tata Motors for the second place, this time, Hyundai has taken the second spot, over Tata Motors. However, Mahindra is in the fourth spot. Hyundai Motor India’s wholesale sales in February increased by 9 percent year-over-year, up to 57,851 units.
Hyundai released its numbers for sales in February 2023, which were released on Wednesday.
The figures were released on Wednesday. Hyundai stated that during the same month one previous year, the company wholesaled 53,159 vehicles. In the month of Feb 2023, Hyundai wholesaled 47,001 cars in the market for domestic vehicles. This is 7 percent higher than the 44,050 vehicles sold in February 2022.

It also shipped 10,850 vehicles to India which is 19 percent higher than the 9,109 vehicles it exported a year prior. Tarun Garg, Chief Operating Director, of Hyundai Motor India, stated that the sales figures show an increase across different categories. When it comes to Tata Motors, its passenger vehicle sales (including electric vehicles) on the Indian market are 43,140 units.
