According to the Federation of Automotive Dealers Associations’ (FADA) announcement of cars sales figures for the month of February 2023. Mahindra has fallen behind Maruti, Hyundai, and Tata in terms of year-over-year sales growth. Maruti Suzuki had an 8 percent (annual) growth in February 2023 and sold 1,18,892 vehicles. Hyundai, on the other hand, saw a 1% gain and sold 39,106 vehicles. In addition to this, Mahindra had a year-over-year rise of more than 60%, and Tata Motors saw an annual gain of 14% with sales of 38,965 units (in February 2023 over February 2022). Mahindra sold 29,356 automobiles overall last month compared to 18,264 in February 2022.

After launching the new Scorpio, Mahindra updated the older Scorpio and released it under the name Scorpio Classic.
