The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) issues Aadhaar Card, a 12-digit Unique Identification Number. It is regarded as the largest biometric ID system in the world because it generates a unique identification number from a person’s biometric information (such as fingerprint and iris scans) that can be used for many things, including opening a bank account, connecting to a mobile network, and receiving government benefits.

You can make updates to your biometrics
(fingerprint, iris, and photo) as well as demographic information (name, address, date of birth, gender, cellphone number, and email address) while maintaining your Aadhaar. But if you don’t like the way your picture appears on your Aadhaar card. The operator will take the photo if you are altering it. The Update Request Number (URN) will be printed on a slip for future use. After the upgrade, you can get an electronic version of the Aadhaar card (e-Aadhaar) from UIDAI’s official website at uidai.gov.in.
