Sawan is a very important month for Lord Shiva worship. In this month, many people fast on Mondays (Sawan Somavar Vrat), while others fast for the full Sawan month Ekasana(one-time fasting). With sandalwood, write ‘Om Namah Shivay’ on 21 vine leaves and gift them to Shivling. All of the desires will be granted as a result of this.
– Feed the poor; this will keep the house stocked with cash and food.
Make 11 Shivlings out of flour each day and anoint them with water 11 times to attract children.
Barley is offered to Shivling to bring happiness into one’s life.
