There is good news for the pensioners of the Central Government and the State Government. Now they will not have to go to the bank to get the life certificate. For the convenience of pensioners, India Post has made a relief announcement. Under this, a life certificate can now be obtained from any post office. This announcement will give relief to those pensioners who find it difficult to visit the bank again and again.

India Post gave information in a tweet and said, ‘Senior citizens can now easily avail Jeevan Pramaan services at the nearest post office CSC counter.’ According to the official website of Jeevan Pramaan – jeevanpramaan.gov.in, ‘In order to obtain this Jeevan Pramaan, the person receiving the pension has to either personally visit the pension disbursing agency or obtain a life certificate issued by the authority Where they have served earlier and handed it over to the disbursing agency.

Get a life certificate easily 

According to the official website of the department, the Digital Life Certificate for Pensioners Scheme of the Government of India seeks to solve this problem by digitizing the entire process of obtaining a life certificate. Its aim is to make the process of obtaining this certificate easier. In this sequence, India Post has given this facility.

For the application, you can first get the update of the nearest Jeevan Praman Kendra by sending an SMS from your mobile number to 7738299899. The text for SMS will be ‘JPL<PIN Code>’. Pensioners will get a list of nearby Jeevan Pramaan centers from the given pin code. After getting this list, you can choose your nearest center. You can get your digital life certificate by going there.
