The Lok Sabha elections are scheduled for this year from April 19 to June 1. The schedules of the candidates whose exams are scheduled to take place within this time frame have undergone modifications. Numerous entrance tests and competitive exams, including as the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam and NEET PG Exam, have been postponed due to the elections. Exams for KCET, MHT CET (PCM, PCB), TS EAPCET (EAMCET), TS POLYCET, and ICAI CA are among those that are planned to be held during the election season.
JEE Main 2024
The schedule for JEE Main 2024 session 2 has been updated by NTA. The entrance exam will now take place from April 4th until to 12th April. Earlier, JEE Main was scheduled between April 4 and 15. The date of the UPSC Civil Services test was set for May 26. The June 16 UPSC preliminary exam has been rescheduled. After the Election Commission revealed the dates of the April–June 2024 elections for the 18th Lok Sabha, it was decided to update the exam schedule.
NEET PG
The June 23 date has been set out for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate, or NEET PG. The NEET PG 2024 results will be released by July 15; by the revised NBE NEET PG 2024 schedule, admissions counseling will take place from August 5 to October 15.
ICAI CA
In place of May 7. The ICAI CA Intermediate Group 1 test will take place on May 3, 5, and 9. In place of May 9, the ICAI CA Intermediate Group 2 exam will take place on May 11, 15, and 17. Due to the conflicting dates of the CA exams. This has not been helpful for the students. The CA students are requesting a postponement of the tests to exercise their right to vote. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is unwilling to reconsider its decision about the three national entrance tests. Even though the exams will take place during election season. Exams scheduled for 2024 include CUET, NEET UG, and JEE Main.
Exams for MHT CET (PCM and PCB)
were originally planned to be held between April 16 and April 30. Then the PCM group exams were rescheduled to be held between May 2 and May 17. PCB group exam will be held between 22 April to 30 April 2024. Admit cards for MHT CET will be made available to the candidates 10 days before the commencement of the examination. The TS EAPCET 2024 exam is scheduled for May 9, 10, 11, and 12. There will be two shifts for the TS EAPCET 2024: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The three-hour TS EAMCET entrance exam will be administered by computer-based testing (CBT).
