It is now quite simple to block SIM card that you have purchased on your ID, even if some of them are not being used. A while back, the Indian government created a website called TAFCOP, or Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection. The Indian government’s Department of Telecommunications (DoT) is in charge of running it.
You can complete the following tasks by going to the TAFCOP portal:
1. The number of SIMs registered in your name is visible.
2. You can turn off an unwanted SIM card.
3. Can see your SIM’s details, like its number, date of issue, etc.
4. You have the option to file a SIM-related complaint. You must input your date of birth and Aadhaar card number to access the TAFCOP portal. Additionally, you will receive an OTP that you must enter.
