The new Tata Altroz Racer will be available in the Indian market thanks to Tata Motors. Once it launches, this hatchback can directly compete with the i20 N-Line. The Altroz Racer is a more athletic variant of the standard Altroz. It will have an upgraded cabin with new amenities, a powerful engine, visual modifications, and much more. The Altroz Racer made its debut at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo before making an appearance at the India Mobility Expo this year.
In terms of styling,
the Altroz Racer will feature an updated radiator and front grilles along with reworked front and rear bumpers with air intakes. With a black roof and two white lines running the length of the bonnet and roof, it receives a fresh orange color. Its A, B, and C pillars, window line, roof, wing mirrors, and integrated spoiler are all black-treated. It will feature a shark-fin antenna and ‘Racer’ badging on the fender.
The interior of this hatchback will be sporty,
with a black dashboard layout accented by colorful stitching on the seats and steering wheel. In addition, it incorporates ambient lighting that matches the color of the outside and colored inserts. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, a head-up display, a voice-activated sunroof, automatic climate control, wireless charging, cruise control, parking sensors, and many other features are among the other anticipated features that the teaser has confirmed the car will have.
The engine of the Altroz Racer
is more potent than that of the standard Altroz. A 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine powers the Racer, producing 120 bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It is also expected that Tata may offer the Altroz ​​with a dual-clutch DCA automatic gearbox, but this is not confirmed yet.
