There is information about jobs available for young people seeking employment. For the apprentice positions at UCO Bank, bumper recruitment has been held. The bank has published a Recruitment notice inviting applications for apprentices at its branches across several states. This indicates that as of July 2, the application procedure has begun. A total of 544 apprentice vacancies
are to be recruited by the bank, per the vacancy details notification (No. HO/HRM/RECR/2024-25/COM-19). West Bengal is eligible for a maximum of 85 of these positions. When the same time, there are 47 vacancies for Uttar Pradesh and 44 for Odisha. UCO Bank sent a Recruitment notification, marking the beginning of the application process. The deadline for applications to be considered for these positions is July 16, 2024. In line with UCO Bank’s recruitment announcement, applicants for apprentice positions are required to hold a degree. Applying for this is open to anybody with a bachelor’s degree in any topic from an accredited university or other higher education institution.
Age Requirement
As of July 1, 2024, candidates must be at least 20 years old. The upper age limit has also been set at 28 years old. Nonetheless, there will be a relaxation for applicants who fall under reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD in the upper age limit as per government rules.
Salary
This training program will run for a whole year. The trainee will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000 throughout this time. The trainee is not qualified for any additional allowances or benefits except for this. The notification states that Rs 10,500 will be deposited into the apprentice’s account by UCO Bank. The trainee would receive Rs 4,500 immediately from the monthly stipend.
