On October 3, Kia India will introduce its newest electric car, the EV9. The manufacturer has made available all of this electric car characteristics and specifications before its launch. The GT-Line AWD version of the Kia EV9, the company’s flagship variation, will be released in India.

The larger 99.8kWh battery pack and two electric motors will be features of the Kia EV9. When combined, the two motors provide 700 Nm of torque and 384 horsepower. The EV9’s powertrain accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 5.3 seconds. In addition, this SUV has a 561 km ARAI-certified range on a single charge. Charging takes only twenty-four minutes the Kia EV9 is from 10-80 percent with a DC fast charger. Its size is also quite big. This SUV is 5,015mm long, 1,980mm wide, and 1,780mm high and has a wheelbase of 3,100mm. The Kia EV9 is set to enter the Indian market as a premium electric SUV, which is not only equipped with long-range but also luxury and safety features.

will accommodate six people in India. Additionally, it will have second-row captain chairs with leg support, electronic adjustability, and a massage feature. The SUV will also include a digital instrument cluster with the same size as a 12.3-inch touchscreen entertainment system. The interior themes for the EV9 will be brown and black and white and black. There are five options available to people on the outside of this vehicle. Snow White Pearl, Ocean Blue, Pebble Grey, Panthera Metal, and Aurora Black Pearl are the available colors for this vehicle colors. 20-inch alloy wheels will also be available in the standard model.

Ten airbags, ABS, ESC, downhill braking control, vehicle stability management, all-wheel disc brakes, and a 360-degree camera are among the safety features of the EV9. In addition, the SUV will offer adaptive cruise control, high beam assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and lane keep assist as part of its ADAS level 2 capabilities.
How much will it cost?
The EV9 can only be imported into India once it has been produced entirely overseas. This electric vehicle is anticipated to cost more than Rs 1 crore ex-showroom, making it the priciest EV. Although it has no direct competitors, this vehicle may nonetheless compete with high-end electric SUVs like the Mercedes EQE SUV, BMW iX, and Audi Q8 e-tron.
