Skoda has revealed a preview of its upcoming compact electric car SUV Elroq in the global market. Skoda India should consider importing this vehicle into the country. The Skoda Elroq is positioned beneath the Skoda Enyaq. The Enyaq is an entirely foreign-built vehicle. This will be Skoda’s debut vehicle in the small SUV market.
Range and Price of Skoda Elroq
The new electric car from Skoda has a 560 km range on a single charge. The Skoda Elroq may cost up to Rs 30 lakh when it is imported into India. The fact that this car is entirely made overseas accounts for its exorbitant cost. Tata Curve EV and Hyundai Creta EV may face stiff competition from rival vehicles like Skoda’s upcoming electric Elroq. The Curve EV was just introduced to the Indian market by Tata Motors. The price of the top model of Tata Curve EV goes up to Rs 22 lakh, which can prove to be Rs 8 lakh cheaper than Elroq.

With three battery packs, the Skoda Elroc may be introduced to the worldwide market. Elroc 50, its entry-level model, has a 125 kW battery pack. At the same time, its Elroc 85 model can give the highest range. Its top model can give a range of 560 kilometers. An electric car from Skoda may feature a 13-inch screen. Additionally, the car’s boot can hold 470 liters. This vehicle is also capable of having ADAS features. A head-up display, an electrically adjusting driver’s seat with memory, and a massage function are further options for the vehicle.
