DRDO Apprentice: This information can be helpful to recent graduates seeking employment. Applications are now being accepted for apprenticeships at DRDO’s Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), where recruitment has begun. The application deadline for the position is May 8, 2025. A total of 150 positions are being filled through this DRDO recruitment.

2. Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentice Trainee: 30 positions
3. 25 positions for ITI Apprentice Trainees
4. 20 positions for Diploma Apprentice Trainees

The announcement states that the educational requirements for various apprentice positions vary as well. For instance, candidates should hold a BE/BTech degree or its equivalent for the position of Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Engineering). Candidates for the position of Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Non-Engineering) should simultaneously hold a BCom, BSc, BA, BCA, or BBA degree. Candidates having a diploma or ITI qualification in the relevant field may apply for the positions of ITI Apprentice Trainee and Diploma Apprentice Trainee. Regarding the age restriction, young people between the ages of 18 and 27 are eligible to apply for this position.

The DRDO statement states that educational qualifications will be the basis for selecting candidates for all of the positions, including Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Engineering), Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Non-Engineering), Diploma Apprentice Trainee, and ITI Apprentice Trainee.
