A massive hiring campaign for 2000 Physical Training Instructor (PTI) positions in government primary schools has been announced by the Punjab government. What qualification is appropriate?
Applicants for these positions must have graduated from a recognized 12th grade school. They should also have completed a physical education diploma or certificate program, such as DPED or CPED. Students who are in their last year of diploma programs are eligible to apply, which is unique. Additionally, a Punjabi language course is required in the tenth grade.
What is the upper age limit?
The candidate must be at least eighteen years old and no older than thirty-seven. However, in accordance with government regulations, reserved categories will be granted an age relaxation.
How much will the salary be?
During the first three years of the probationary period, selected candidates would receive a salary of Rs 29,200 per month. Salary and benefits will then be distributed in accordance with the Seventh Pay Commission.

The application cost is Rs 2000 for candidates in the general category and other categories, and Rs 1000 for those in the SC and ST categories.
How will the selecting procedure be carried out?
Three stages will be used to choose the candidates. A written exam and a qualifying Punjabi language test will be part of the first phase. A physical fitness exam will next be administered, and the candidates will be chosen based on their merits.
What questions will be on the written test?
Questions about general knowledge, reasoning skills, pedagogy and teaching aptitude, physical education, Punjabi, and English language proficiency will all be included in the written exam. The exam will have a total score of 100.
