In India, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter unveiled the Honda CB125 Hornet. Although the Cb125 Hornet’s prices have not yet been revealed, they are expected to be comparable to those of the Hero Xtreme 125R. This comparison of the Hero Xtreme 125R and Honda CB125 Hornet may make your decision easier.
Hero Xtreme 125R vs. Honda CB125 Hornet: Specifications
A 123.94 cc, 4-stroke, SI engine coupled with a 5-speed gearbox powers the Honda CB125 Hornet. It can produce 11 horsepower at 7500 rpm and 11.2 N-m at 6000 rpm, respectively, at its maximum power and torque output.
In contrast, the Hero Xtreme 125R has a 124.7cc engine that is mated to a 5-speed shifting gearbox. It can produce 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm and 11.24 horsepower at 8,250 rpm.

Features of the Honda CB125 Hornet include a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth and Honda RoadSync app compatibility, a USB Type-C charging port, and an all-LED lighting setup that includes a signature twin-LED headlamp with LED DRLs and high-mounted LED turn indicators. For added safety, it also has a side-stand indicator with engine inhibitor and an engine stop switch.
One of the many characteristics of the Hero Xtreme 125R is its all-LED configuration, which includes LED blinkers, LED headlamps, and LED taillamps. It boasts the first-in-segment single-channel ABS for safety and a straightforward digital cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.

The Honda CB125 Hornet features a 5-step adjustable mono-shock absorber and the first-in-segment golden USD front forks. Wide tubeless tires, 80/100-17 in front and 110/80-17 in back, support the vehicle, which has a 240mm petal disc up front and a 130mm drum down back for braking.
The Hero Xtreme 125R, on the other hand, has a hydraulic monoshock on the back and forks with a 37 mm diameter up front. For stable braking, it has a 240 mm front drum and a 130 mm rear drum. The front and rear tires of the Xtreme 125R are 90/90-17 and 120/80-17, respectively.

We will have to wait until August 1st to find out the Honda CB125 Hornet’s prices, which are still pending. The Hero Xtreme 125R, on the other hand, comes in three different models and starts at Rs 98,000 (ex-showroom).
