The Jammu and Kashmir government has issued a new guideline for the devotees coming to visit Vaishno Devi. Under this, it will now be mandatory for the pilgrims to bring a negative report of Corona with them.
Srinagar: There is big news for the devotees going to visit Vaishno Devi. The Jammu and Kashmir government (J&K Govt) has issued new guidelines on Friday to prevent the spread of corona. According to this, now the pilgrims will have to bring a maximum 72 hours old RT-PCR corona negative report with them.
The state government has taken this decision in view of the prevention of rapid increase in new cases of the corona. If we look at the figures, 87 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, after which the total number of infected people in the state increased to 3,31,386. However, no new cases of death due to infection were reported during this period. Officials said that 4,429 people have died due to this deadly virus in the Union Territory so far. Only 13 cases were reported in the Jammu division, while 74 new cases were reported in the Kashmir division.

It is necessary to follow the corona protocol
It has been clearly stated in the order that if a pilgrim shows any symptoms of the corona, he will not be allowed to have darshan. Not only this, devotees will have to strictly follow the corona protocol during the journey. Along with this, it is also important to have proper sanitization. For this, instructions have been issued to the local administration and the concerned officials.
