As on January 1, 2026, the candidate must be at least 18 years old and no older than 25. In other words, the applicant’s birthdate must fall between January 2, 2001, and January 1, 2008.

The selection procedure will be based on athletic accomplishments and will be fully open. There won’t be any form of written test. Following an examination of the candidates’ athletic accomplishments, sports trials will take place. Their on-field performance will be assessed during these trials. However, SC, ST, women, Divyang, and ex-servicemen candidates only need to pay an application cost of Rs 250, which would be reimbursed in full once they take part in the trial.
