Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan asked senior officials to stock enough 8 critical medicines and ensure that all hospitals are ready to deal with any possible situation in the new case of the corona.

Actually, this meeting has been done after several cases of ‘Omicron’ spreading the coronavirus in India came to the fore. Talking to health secretaries and directors of the National Health Mission through video conference, Bhushan said that all health facilities should have ventilators, PSA plants, and oxygen concentrators.
A statement issued by the health ministry said states were informed that many ventilators supplied by the Center are still lying packed and unworked in some field hospitals. At the same time, it needs to be reviewed immediately to ensure that all PSA oxygen plants, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators are installed and working. Along with this, the states and union territories were asked to increase testing and focus on surveillance so that suspected cases can be identified at the earliest by quarantining at the earliest.
