COVID-19 infection is becoming more common across the country. Meanwhile, if you are planning to travel somewhere, you should be aware of these rules.
The Omicron variant is causing an increase in COVID-19 infections across the country. Travel restrictions and health protocols have been implemented in response to the rising number of infections. The Union Home Ministry has issued a general advisory for inter-state travel in this regard. If you are planning a trip, you should be aware of the rules for traveling in various states-
Delhi
According to the guidelines, test samples will be taken from passengers arriving in Delhi, particularly those arriving from states where new cases of Covid are being reported on a regular basis. Thermal screening will be required for all passengers. If they test positive, they must spend 10 days in quarantine at home or in the hospital. All passengers arriving here will be required to download the Arogya Setu app.
Goa
All passengers will be required to show a negative COVID-19 test result. It should not be older than 48 hours when it arrives in Goa. If you do not have this report, you will be required to take a COVID-19 test.

Jammu and Kashmir
Passengers arriving in Jammu and Kashmir will be required to present a negative RT-PCR report that is no older than 72 hours prior to their entry into the state. If you do not have the test report, you will be required to take the test when you arrive. All passengers arriving at the Jammu and Kashmir airport will be placed in institutional quarantine until the results of their COVID-19 test are available.
Tamil Nadu
All visitors to the state from Delhi, Maharashtra, and Gujarat will be subjected to a COVID-19 test. Only symptomatic passengers arriving from other states will be required to take a COVID test.
Madhya Pradesh
Passengers from Madhya Pradesh will be subjected to thermal screening. People traveling from Maharashtra will be required to provide a mandatory RT-PCR negative report completed 72 hours prior to departure. You will have to take the test if you do not show the report. If the test results are positive, he will be placed in quarantine for 10 days under the supervision of a doctor.
