OnePlus 10 Ultra Concept Renders Give us our Best Look Yet at Potential Design.

OnePlus 10 Ultra concept renders have surfaced online, revealing the design and camera setup of the device. This comes days after a patent filing by OnePlus that gave us our first look at the OnePlus 10 Ultra. Previously, we learned that OnePlus may use Oppo’s MarySilicon NPU for better imaging on its upcoming OnePlus 10 Ultra. Now LetsGoDigital in collaboration with Germaine Schmidt aka concept creator has created a concept render of the OnePlus 10 Ultra based on the patent image. Furthermore, the report also suggests that the OnePlus 10 Ultra may debut in the second half of 2022.

The OnePlus 10 Ultra concept renders give us an early look at the design of the device. The design of the OnePlus Plus 10 Ultra is similar to the recently launched OnePlus 10 Pro. The main peg here is the camera setup at the back, which is a triple-camera layout. The camera could be the same 50MP ultra-wide lens and 48MP wide-angle lens, but the third module is likely to be a rectangular-shaped periscope lens with 5x optical zoom.

This will be the first OnePlus smartphone to debut with a periscope lens. OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a maximum of 3.3x zoom support. The patent documents don’t reveal the details of the camera, but we can expect a 5x zoom range. Over the past year, OnePlus and Oppo have merged and shared the same technology across devices. A recent leak suggested that Oppo will launch its first Hasselblad camera smartphone – Oppo Find X5 Pro. The Hasselblad camera was first introduced with the OnePlus 9 series. Now, OnePlus will adopt OPPO’s MariSilicon NPU for better imaging in its upcoming OnePlus 10 Ultra.

Coming to the renders, the OnePlus 10 Ultra will sport a curved display on the front and a punch-hole camera cutout on the left. It houses the power button along with the alert slider on the right and the volume rocker on the left. It has a USB Type-C port, a SIM tray, and a microphone at the bottom.

OnePlus 10 Ultra Specifications (Expected)
The OnePlus 10 Ultra is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor, which is said to debut in the coming months. The handset will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVooC and 50W AirVooC fast charging. The 10 Ultra could feature a 120Hz QuadHD+ AMOLED display and Android 12-based Oxygen 12 skin out of the box.

OnePlus 10 Pro is currently available in China and is yet to be launched globally. Unlike the OnePlus 9 series, the OnePlus 10 series may or may not come with the vanilla OnePlus 10, as the company may launch a high-end Ultra variant on the OnePlus 10 series. We expect to know more about the OnePlus 10 Ultra specifications and launch details in the coming days.
